The Current Committee

President - Rory Welsh

I'm Rory, a third year biochemist and president for the 2024-25 year. I started rowing with Corpus as a novice in my first year and am excited for another great year with the club. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you would like to get involved!

Treasurer and Vice Captain (Men's) - Chris Hunn

Hi I'm Chris and I am in my third year studying materials science. My role as treasurer is to pay for things while keeping the boat club healthy financially. This mainly involves budgeting/projecting costs as well as chasing people for subs. In addition, I have to communicate regularly with college to make sure they approve of the things we spend our money on so that we can access their various funds. If you have any questions about the role or any suggestions, please do email me at christopher.hunn@ccc.ox.ac.uk

Secretary - Atharva Naik

Hi, I’m Atharva and I’m CCCBC’s current secretary. I’m a second year medic and started rowing as a novice in Michaelmas of my first year. I’m responsible for making sure the administrative side of the boat club runs smoothly. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. atharva.naik@ccc.ox.ac.uk

Men's Captain - Daniel Ning

Hi, I'm Daniel. I'm a second year materials scientist and the current men's captain. I started rowing at Corpus and really enjoyed racing in Summer Eights. I'm hoping to build a good crew this year. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Women's Captain - Stella Price

I’m Stella, the current Women’s Captain at CCCBC! I’m also an ancient and modern historian in my downtime so rowing is an excellent excuse to get myself out of crusty dusty libraries. I first took up rowing in Trinity of my first year and promptly threw myself in at the deep end with our 2023 Summer VIIIs campaign (and clearly I’ve been hooked ever since). As my committee title suggests, I’m responsible for pretty much everything on the women’s side - if you have any questions just drop me an email at stella.price@ccc.ox.ac.uk

Women's Vice Captain - Beth Longworth

Hi, I’m Beth and I’m the current women’s vice-captain at CCCBC. I’m a fourth year medic, and I started rowing as a novice in my second year. Both rowing and coxing have been such a great way to take a break from work and socialise. Feel free to contact me if you need anything at all at bethany.longworth@ccc.ox.ac.uk

Captain of Coxes and Water Safety Officer - Elisabeth Edwards

Hi! I'm Elisabeth, a third-year chemist and Captain of Coxes. I've been rowing and coxing for nearly 8 years, and am looking forward to helping all our coxes develop their skills! If you need to reach me with any questions or you are interested in learning to cox, my email is elisabeth.edwards@ccc.ox.ac.uk

Social Secretary - Ben Chapman

Hi, I’m Ben. I’m a third year materials scientist and the social sec for CCCBC. I started rowing in my first term at uni and have had lots of fun with the club both on and off the water. It’s my job to organise and run social events. If you have any questions please contact benjamin.mcnab@ccc.ox.ac.uk
